After a quick pack up of all the parcels, we set off for the boat at about 1.00. This time we had Sophie with us, so not sure how she’s going to like boating again after all these years. After sweltering in the heat for the last 2/3 weeks, the heavens opened as we neared the marina. We stopped to buy some shoes for James and dodged the showers in & out the car. By the time we got to the marina, it was steady rain and again we unloaded everything in the rain- it makes it all so much more difficult!
By this time the evening was racing on and we still had to go grocery shopping & we were hungry. We stopped at the OK Diner for the first time in our lives and had a really delicious meal. Then on to Sainsbury’s, where James picked up some bargain lego and back to the boat for bed.
Sophie is quite at home on Harebell and thinks shes “cute”…… high praise indeed.
